Yesterday Tried to Bury You, But God Is Calling You to Rise
Many people are walking through life carrying pain that was never properly addressed—abuse, betrayal, rejection, abandonment, trauma, or loss that left them feeling shattered. Sometimes, the wounds go so deep they change how we see ourselves, how we show up in the world, and how we relate to God.

Trauma Is Not Just Emotional; It’s Spiritual and Physical Too
Many people think trauma just lives in the mind. But it also lodges itself in the body, the soul, and even the spirit:
- That sudden chest tightness when you get anxious?
- That spirit of isolation that makes you withdraw from others?
- The chronic fatigue, racing thoughts, or sabotaged relationships?
- Those may be symptoms of unhealed trauma or spiritual wounds that opened doors for oppression.
- “A broken spirit dries the bones…” – Proverbs 17:22
- God doesn’t just want to heal your emotions—He wants to go deeper.
- To the root. To the soul. To the spiritual wounds that are keeping you bound.
- And the good news? Jesus is still the Balm in Gilead, the Healer of shattered souls, and the Deliverer of those trapped in invisible chains.

When the Hurt Is Hidden But the Effects Are Loud
Maybe you’ve learned how to function in your pain. You go to work, show up for your kids, and post encouraging quotes on social media—but when the lights are off, the tears still fall.
The mask of strength hides the soul of sorrow. You’ve told yourself, “I should be over this by now.”
But here’s the truth: You can’t heal from what you continue to hide.
This magazine exists to give women (and men) permission to speak, grieve, release, and heal.
To know that the Father sees you, not for what broke you, but for what He is restoring in you.

Deliverance Is Not a Moment—It’s a Journey

Deliverance isn’t just about a one-time breakthrough—it’s about a daily walk into wholeness.
It’s about:
- Closing doors to the past.
- Renouncing soul ties.
- Breaking generational patterns.
- Renewing your mind through God's Word.
- Allowing the Holy Spirit to fill the places where trauma used to live.
- “Behold, I make all things new.” – Revelation 21:5
- You’re not crazy. You’re not weak. You’re in the middle of your healing, and that is sacred ground.
Testimony Spotlight—From Pain to Purpose
I was molested as a child and silenced by shame. Later, I was in a relationship where I lost my sense of worth. I found myself crying out in the middle of the night, not even knowing what healing looked like. But in that brokenness, God met me. He didn’t just heal me—He called me. Now, I speak so that other women can be free too.
Devotional Reflection—A Prayer for the Wounded Soul
Prayer:
Lord, I give You my hurt—the parts of me I pretend don’t exist.
I surrender the shame, the bitterness, and the fear.
Exchange it for peace. Exchange it for truth.
Heal the places in me that trauma tried to bury.
Remind me of who I am in You—loved, whole, restored, and redeemed.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
